Jumbo expansion to target Vietnam and Australia in 2020

Taiwanese gaming machine developer Jumbo Technology is looking to expand its footprint to new jurisdictions such as Australia and Vietnam in 2020, according to Associate Vice President of Business Development, Allen Hsu.

Jumbo “has a very good foundation here in Asia but we’re trying to go global as well,” Hsu said, pointing out that the company’s products are already present in Macau, Philippines, Korea, Nepal, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Cambodia, where they recently signed a deal to deploy into Poipet.

“We’re trying to penetrate Vietnam in Southeast Asia and we’re looking at Australia for next year as well.”

Celebrating its 20th anniversary next year, Jumbo is also preparing a new batch of products.

“We have a second brand new link coming out, we have a new ETG coming out, brand new box, bigger screen, fishing games coming out, which are doing really well in Southeast Asia as well,” Hsu said.

Jumbo showcased its latest link, Bāo Nǐ Fā Jackpot, at MGS Entertainment Show last week, with the product based on the features of the company’s Yi Lu Fa Jackpot.

Bāo Nǐ Fā adds a standalone “Fortune” jackpot on top of the three progressive linked jackpots. Jumbo introduced three games linked to Bāo Nǐ Fā: “Power Dragon”, “Power Mask” and “Power Lion” in which the unique “Power Up” feature gives players the chance to multiply their winnings.

Bāo Nǐ Fā Jackpot comes equipped with the new D 27 cabinet housing a 27-inch-high resolution dual screen as well as a 10.1-inch configurable button touch panel.
